Advocacy & Action

Our Association leads initiatives to support public education, improve student achievement, and increase education funding. Members have a strong voice in determining their salaries and working conditions through our Local Associations’ advocacy with public education employers. Our leaders and staff assist members with employment related problems and provide quality representation through our Legal Services Program.

At the Legislature

CEA lobbyists and members volunteering as Legislative Liaisons represent educators and speak up for their interests at the Capitol.

In Congress

NEA lobbyists and members stand up for educators and their students’ interests in the halls of Congress.

Through Collective Bargaining

CEA Local Associations provide quality representation for members at the bargaining table and in the workplace.

Legal Issues

Association membership benefits include comprehensive legal assistance in the workplace for a wide range of employment matters.
