We work with the members of the Colorado General Assembly and other elected and appointed public officials to support a pro-public education agenda.

Bargaining & Organizing

Our Organizing Team works alongside Colorado educators to build power at the state and local levels to strengthen public education.

Government Relations

CEA’s Government Relations Team fights at the Colorado state capitol for school funding and education policies that promote student learning and professional practices.

Legal Services

CEA is the only public education employee organization in Colorado that provides comprehensive legal services for members.

Teaching And Learning

CEA’s Teaching & Learning Team researches best practices, delivers professional learning opportunities and drives public policy conversations around education.

K-12 TEACHERS & SPECIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS

Classroom teachers, counselors, special educators, school psychologists, social workers, school nurses, vocational teachers, and other certified professionals.

EDUCATION SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS

Paraeducators, food service workers, bus drivers and mechanics, custodians and facility managers, school secretaries and clerical staff, nurses and health aides, maintenance employees, security personnel, landscapers and groundskeepers, technicians, and other classified professionals.

RETIRED AND PRE-RETIRED EDUCATORS

Professionals who are at least 45 years old and have retired or are preparing for retirement  from an education profession.
